From the supplier: KMOV Channel 4 was the only station to give accurate details of the events surrounding the explosion which occurred in Jennings, MO, at 4 p.m. on Oct. 16, 1994. As the television station corrected it earlier report and revealed that the explosion was deliberate and not accidental, KTVI Channel 2 and KSDK Channel 5 chose to stick to their original account that the explosion was due to leaking natural gas. It was not until the following day that both stations corrected their stories.
